Dodge Viper for sale
Sorry, but the car has now been sold
Remember in The Simpsons when Ned Flanders opened The Leftorium and had a left-hand drive sportster for sale that Mr Burns bought at the end of the episode? Well we have the real thing - a Red Dodge Viper RT/10 sports convertible with an 8 litre V10 engine with over 400 Brake HorsePower giving a 0-60 MPH time of 4 seconds and a top speed of over 170 MPH.

Also for sale - Keith's Porsche 993 Cabriolet

This is ALH owner Keith's personal car that he has owned for more than 4 years. It is a 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 with only 22,000 miles on the clock. It has been lovingly cared for and is only for sale because he wants to change it for a Viper-powered Doge RAM pickup truck that we can use for our business as well as his pleasure!
The Dodge Viper is one of the fastest and most powerful production cars ever built and is a real head turner - everyone knows what it is and loves it. As people hear it coming (and they do!) they all turn and drop their jaws as it goes by.

This Viper was original U.S. specification (with Dodge badge and fully operating side pipe exhausts) but has been adapted to meet UK SVA requirements so that it can pass a UK MOT certificate. It is still left hand drive of course!

Keith has just spent over £2,000 on a brand new full clutch assembly and new flywheel fitted by a Chrysler main dealer. The Viper car has a new MOT, has just had new racing spec front brake pads fitted and and is generally in very good condition. It has a removable soft top and side windows (it folds to fit into the boot) and is in completely standard specification except for K & N air filters and smooth air intake pipes that increase the BHP to over 420.
It has a good stereo system with CD player (although I tend not to use it much as I like hearing the sound of the engine much better than any music!). I also have the original owners handbook and the genuine Chrysler workshop manual (cost me over £100.00 to get hold of this).
This is a rock-solid car that required very little maintenance and is totaly reliable. The big engine fires up first time all year round and it just takes you wherever you want to go without any worries. The engine temperature stays absolutely constant whatever the outside temperature and it has never had a leak of any sort.
It has a 6-speed manual gearbox and the engine torque is so high that it can pull from 1,000 revs upwards in any gear. Driving around town it is rare to get over 3,000 revs. The top gear ratio is designed high for motorway cruising and does 50 MPH per 1,000 revs so doing 70 on the motorway it is only popping along at about 1,400 revs and will do more than 20 miles per gallon. If you start having fun at full throttle in lower gears you will get a bit less!
Insurance? As the car is now over 10 years old it is classed as a "classic car" and I have got fully comprehensive insurance cover for just over £400.00 per annum. This is on a limited mileage (I do less than 3,000 miles a year in the car) and No Claims Bonus is not relevant. If you are interested, I can give you the policy details.

Why am I selling it? - Well, every time I take it out I wonder that myself! But really, I have had it for over 4 years now and it is time for a change. I really fancy the new Viper powered Dodge RAM SRT-10 pickup truck - having had that much power under my right boot for a while I just don't think I could live with anything less. Also, my family and their stuff would fit in it a lot better.
The Viper is kept in North Surrey, UK and is for sale at only £28,950 - that is an awful lot of car and performance for the money!
Now reduced to £26,950 as I need to get the cash and make room on my drive!
If you want to own a Dodge Viper and think you could handle this much power, don't miss this rare opportunity to buy one of these fantastic cars. To find out more or express your interest in buying this car please
