We were delighted when the left-handed nib in this pen passed our writing test with flying colours, as all the staff love the modern sleek design and satin finish, not to mention the fantastic colours! Wonderfully smooth, the ball tipped oblique nib simply glides along the page, and combines with the comfortable grip and solid weight of the pen to give a real feeling of quality at an excellent price. Recommended if you like a medium to broad nib.

Colour notes:
Colour options are in the same order as on the picture, starting from the top. The picture gives a fairly good colour representation but note that the colour Purple is actually fairly pink and that the Blue is closer to a purple colour.

Great Pen This is a beautiful pen to write with. I think it is the smoothest I have tried and better than my more expensive pen.The colour is a nice olive green and thankfully more subdued than I had anticipated Janet Charlton

Great Pen! Nice weight, nice feel, super smooth writing action! I bought this as my 'back up/travelling' pen and I love it. The lid isn't 100% secure if put on the end in use, so mind not to loose it, but this is a minor comment on a lovely pen. Honey-Lee

How pens are left-handed

"How can a pen be left-handed?" is a question we hear all the time. Well, writing with a fountain pen can be a real problem for left-handers, as we are pushing the pen across the page rather than pulling it, which leads to difficulty with ink flow and the possibility of the nib digging into the paper. The problem is greatly alleviated by the use of a left-handed nib. Most of our pens have a rounded ball on the end of the nib that is machined to give smooth ink flow writing left-handed from almost any angle. Nibs are either fine or medium as stated in the product descriptions. Some people prefer a wider nib to produce italic script and will like our italic/oblique nib pens.

A lot of left-handers have a problem with smudging their work and if this is the case they may benefit from using a fine nib which puts less ink on the page, allowing it to dry faster.
